The Penn Long Beach line of reels originated clear back in the 1930's and ran all the way up to the 1990's and early 2000's. That should tell you all you need to know about how bulletproof these things are! It is an absolute work horse of a reel!

This reel was gone through and received a new HT-100 drag pack along with lubrication of all critical parts.
